Mr. Abadin is in private practice with the firm Ramon A. Abadin, P.A. in Miami, Florida. Prior to opening Ramon A. Abadin, P.A., Mr. Abadin practiced with the firm Sedgwick LLP in its Miami office. Mr. Abadin graduated from Loyola University School of Law in 1985. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University. He is a former member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors and served as President of The Florida Bar for the 2015-2016 term. Mr. Abadin, born in Havana, Cuba, was President of the Cuban-American Bar Association in 2004. Mr. Abadin is Chair of the Claims Committee and a member of the Executive Committee and Nominating Committee.
